We are located in the central mountains of West Virginia - just ten miles north of Fayetteville and
six miles south of Summersville. The Fayetteville area boasts the world's longest arch bridge,
which crosses the New River Gorge. Accesses to the Summersville Lake, the largest lake in West
Virginia, are located in the Mt. Nebo and Summersville area.
This sixteen mile stretch along Rt. 19, a major four lane highway, offers white water rafting,
rock climbing, snow skiing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, scuba diving, and boating.
For those of you who plan to visit this wonderful area (and hopefully us too!),
you will probably want to stay for a while. For overnight accommodations near
the Tractor Bar, we recommend Carnifax Ferry Cottages or Driftwood Lodge.
The “Tractor Bar”, as the locals call it, is located just a mile off Rt. 19.
From Rt. 19 in Mt. Nebo, take Rt. 129 East one mile.
Then left on Rt. 41 for less than half a mile.
